Step 1:  Build A Friendly Relationship With Your Prospects By Invitation.

The first mistake people make in direct sales marketing is when they initially talk to potential prospects, they ask them to take a look at a business opportunity.  That type of invitation makes you look hungry, desperate and will get people to run away from you.

In the direct sales industry, the key is you need to show some interest in what matters to THEM.  Begin to make a lasting impression by inviting prospects to get to know who you are and what you can do to help them build THEIR BUSINESS…not yours.  You should show interest in their wants and needs, as opposed to YOU being interesting.  Get to know them and find out what’s happening in their life, how they got started and what their goals are.  If you can learn to invite well, you can put your prospects in front of good presenters, good trainers and good presentation tools (like training videos, audios, etc.), even if you are a newbie.

Step 2:   Discover What Problems They Are Having In Marketing Their Business.

A network marketer’s dream is to have more leads than he or she can handle and be able to earn a substantial living in the process.  If you have a product or service that can help solve your prospect’s problems, identify that problem FIRST…and then offer a solution.   And most importantly, at this point, don’t make the solution be YOUR business.  A potential prospect might already have something that they are passionate about!  You must offer VALUE, a powerful tool, and a system and/or training that will help them reach their goals.

Step 3:   Invite Your Prospect To Review Your Training System.

If you have successfully invited them to review your training system, then your prospect is ready to receive this information.  If you have built a rapport and have become a person they know, like and trust, you will be perceived as a resource and not a pushy sales person who only cares about a sign up.  You must be more than just a “sign up” to your prospect.  No one cares how much you know, until they know how much you care.

Step 4:   Make The Sale.

If you follow this 6-Step Professional Blueprint, you will now have a person who will go to your site, sign up and be ready to take action.  At this point, there will be no need to do any selling because they have closed themselves!   You simply coach them through the training process, monitor their progress and look for your leaders.

Step 5:   Recruit Like Crazy.

At this point, if your prospect does not know which business to choose, your prospect is now ready to hear about YOUR business.  You have gotten to know them and have proven to them how to successfully market online and get great results.  You have established yourself as a trusted resource.  Let them know that the training system you introduced them to is the exact system you use in your business and is the catalyst that converts those leads to cash.

Given the current economic state of affairs, you can no longer rely on job security, pensions and the like – but you can depend on yourself.  You need to re-evaluate your current lifestyle from a different prospective.  Think about this…instead of asking yourself whether the way you are living, behaving and thinking is right, with respect to maintaining good health and obtaining financial freedom, ask yourself whether the way you are living, behaving and thinking is working or not working.
